Very friendly, attentive & helpful staff from front desk to dining room. Went for 3 nights with husband & 8 year old son. We're made to feel very welcome. Smiles & good service all round. Room was great (12th floor) very clean, spacious & fab city view of the London eye. Would definitely recommend for city break base.

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Nice decoration. Very kind and welcoming staff. Special thanks to Bhuiyan from Bangladesh ,Renata from Poland and Katarina from Germany in the dining room. They were outstandingly helpful at every moment throughout our stay.
The only thing I can complain about is that it gets too warm in the bedroom.

Travelling with teenage niece, had a wonderful trip. This hotel is in an excellent location. Many sights in close walking distance and a choice of 2 tube stations within an easy walk. The staff were pleasant, helpful - special thanks to the doormen who answered many questions always with a smile! The room was a one with 2 twin beds, small, clean and efficient - the beds were outstanding. Have recommended it to everyone and will stay here on our next trip to London.

Lovely hotel, excellent customer service, reception staff and concierge extremely helpful - would recommend.
Lift a little slow - we were on the 13th floor so too far to walk!

The room + view were fab! We were upgraded free of charge to a 9th floor suite with a great view of Big Ben and London Eye. Staff always helpful, very polite and smart. We'd included breakfast in the booking and it was brought to our room each morning, so no queuing! Lovely shower too!
Sliding glass door on bathroom slightly wobbly and clanged a bit. No secrets in there either!
Bit of a wait for lifts at times but not overly long.

Almost everything, nice room, clean, but I want to highlight that staff is extremely nice and helpful (reception Ilan and Dolores). People that
work in the restaurant during "rush hour" breakfast are excellent in every sense.
Waiting for the lift.

Lovely room accommodation. Adequate menu and good service at dinner.
Lack of concern for safety when I sat on a room chair and it collapsed from broken legs. I was injured, but the desk clerk on duty was interested merely in replacing the chair. Our wake-up call request was not honored on the morning of departure for the airport. The lifts were extremely slow.

The staff was extremely nice and professional. The "cold breakfast" was actually very nice. It included hot foods such as sausages, bacon, hashed potato patties, scrambled eggs, toast, etc. It also included cold cereals, fresh fruits, juices, an assortment of yogurts, breads, pastries, and hot beverages. There were internet connections available in the rooms as well as on the lower level. The fitness center was great. Even though you had to check out in person at the desk (vs doing it via the TV in your room), the process was very quick.
There were no public phones in the entire building (to use the complimentary calling cards provided by Trafalgar). So that meant walking blocks (usually at night), to get to a sidewalk pay phone if you wanted to call home. Even if you had a calling card, calls from the phone in the room were rather costly because of the per-minute service charge to get (and use) an outside line. Perhaps an international cell phone would work from somewhere inside the hotel. The fantastic views of the River Thames and Parliament are now totally blocked (at least from the 6th floor), by new construction directly in front of the hotel. If a scenic view is important to you, stay at the Park Plaza Riverbank, not far away. The hotel welcome package described a safe in every room. But oddly, there was no safe in my room. It was a nice room otherwise. It also mentioned its gift shop. But the shop did not exist.
